The new design helps to alleviate some of the more frustrating aspects of the previous design, but it still has an amazing battle system, engaging characters and story, and one of the best soundtracks in video history. After all of these years, Final Fantasy VII still holds up. Jan 6, 2020 is when the new year will begin.
