Is Magic The Gathering difficult to learn?

The easiest version to try is the free-to-play version of Magic, called MTG Arena. Magic is easy to get into and hard to master. Is there anything else you'd like to see? Magic is quite expensive if you want to play on paper. Many of the more powerful rare cards can cost US dollars.
