Is The Witcher 2 better with a controller or keyboard?

Witcher 2 doesn't have analog walk movement so walking is difficult with the controller. I'm not comfortable with keyboard and mouse for action games and I'm using a controller. Menus are better with a controller and combat is better with a controller.
