Why is counter strike global offensive popular?

There's a lot of things that people want in a game, and that's why it's so popular. There is a competitive game mode, skill required, and a game design. Is there anything else you'd like to see? It allows for more individual skill and more strategic play. Death match will seem boring once you play this mode.
