Since the launch of Super Mario Run in 2016 it has been difficult to combine its traditional quality of gameplay with mobile's monetization in a fair and effective way. The racing is simpler and less restrictive than it used to be. Mario Kart 8 is arguably the best Mario Kart game. The main menu has an icon, but it is grayed out with a note. It is coming soon, that is what I am saying.
